Or maybe I should call this "Just a bunch of photos from the weekend"? Well I took a ton of photos. So I'm just going to keep this short and post them. Marni her friend Diana, and I went for a ride around the Portland waterfront. Diana knew where all the bike trails were so we fallowed her. Much to my surprise there is a bike only road going down the river called "The Spring Water Trail" So we road over one of the many bridges and past the local science Museum "Omsi" and down the trail. We pasted Oaks Park, and road down to Sellwood where there was a nice water front park. Lots of dogs playing in the water. It was hot and sunny all day. After that we road back to town and around the Pearl district of Portland and had lunch. The condos are expensive and its very "Yuppie" in that area. The whole area used to be old warehouses. They still have some 100 year old cobble stone roads left down there. I look forward to the summer and many more bike rides. Its a little more fun biking around town than commuting to work.
When the sun comes out so does everyone else. There were a lot of people biking on the trails, but also people jogging and just taking there time walking. You see a lot of weird bikes, people get creative and build there own. 
We have lots of public water parks, and we have plenty of water so they are always running. Anyway, I'm out of time so please enjoy these photos. They should give you a good idea of what Portland Oregon is like during the summer. I may comment more later! -Case
